Newtown Creek Retreat

We offer accommodation in two spacious and light bedrooms in an extension to the main cottage . Both rooms are triple aspect and have sea and woodland views. The Dark Sky policy in the area ensures a quiet calm night's sleep and no other properties overlook us. The mature woodland that surrounds the property is home to a variety of flora and fauna, and pheasants and red squirrels are daily visitors to our garden.

We offer our guests a friendly and relaxing break, surrounded by nature. Our rooms include:

- King size beds with orthopaedic mattresses

- Tea and coffee making facilities

- Both sea and woodland views from each room

 The Ledge Room:

A large  light room with views of the Solent (Hamstead Ledge) and of the woodland to the East and South of the house.

The Forest Room:

Another large and light-filled room with views of the Solent and of the woodland to the west and south of the house

Breakfast is a choice of English (using local produce where available) or Continental (including cereals, yoghurt, fruit and where possible, locally sourced preserves).

Evening meals are available upon request. Alternatively, the New Inn and Horse and Groom are a short distance away

For the comfort of our guests we ask that there is no smoking in the rooms, or outside close to the house.

As animal lovers we have encouraged wild-life to visit us; reluctantly, therefore, we are unable to accommodate dogs.
